Kick-off WORKSHOP: Quantum Emitters in Non-Conventional Baths (European Research Council)
Quantum Emitters in Non-Conventional Baths (European Research Council)
- Beginn: 14.01.2019 10:00
- Ende: 16.01.2019 17:00
- Ort: Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics
- Gastgeber: MPQ, Theory Division
Coupling a quantum emitter to a non-conventional bath as e.g. constructed from low-dimensional materials or with topological features gives rise to novel physics at the boundary between research on strongly correlated nanophysics, the study of open quantum systems and experimental realisations of quantum simulations. By inviting some outstanding groups and their members at all career stages, we hope to further exchange now and also pave the way for collaborations in the future.
