The dynamics of a weakly interacting Bose gas is governed by the nonlinear Schrödinger equation, which supports solitons with rich and surprising behaviour.

I will present the generation of various solitons in a low-dimensional spin mixture, including Townes solitons and breathers, and show that moving magnetic solitons exhibit Bloch oscillations even in the absence of a lattice.
