This digital book presents the multifaceted world of physics through contributions from a wide range of disciplines. Over 200 physicists contributed between autumn 2022 and winter 2024/25, selecting key content and authoring articles in their areas of expertise. The range is vast: from the study of the tiniest building blocks of matter to the expanses of the universe; from the search for new, functional materials to the understanding of biological cells; from the dynamics of swarms and traffic flows to the production of ever more powerful microchips, climate research, and energy supply.
