MPP & MPQ Career Day
The MPP & MPQ Career Day is meant to bring together young researchers interested in transitioning from academia to, e.g., industry, finance, or consulting, and companies looking for doctoral researchers well-versed in working methodically and solving multi-layered problems.
The 2026 MPP & MPQ Career Day will take place on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, at the Max Planck Institute for Physics (MPP), Boltzmannstr. 8, Garching b. Munich, and is organized by the PhD representatives of MPP and MPQ.
This year's keynote speaker will be Prof. Dr. Johannes Zeiher (LMU & MPQ, cofounder of planqc).
The companies set up stands in the foyer, presenting themselves with e.g. posters, brochures, or recruiting contacts. Throughout the day, participants are encouraged to attend talks, to visit the stands and get in contact with the companies.
