PASQuanS2.1: Programmable atomic large-scale quantum simulation

Funding program for the development of programmable quantum simulators. Regarding the development of optical-lattice quantum simulators, the goal is to increase the programmabiliy, stability and size of current experimental platforms and to identify pathways towards demonstrating practical quantum advantage with analog quantum simulators.

On the technological side, we are going to develop new experimental techniques in order to increase the fidelity of the initial-state preparation, enhance the data rate, achieve local control over tunnel couplings and improve the precision of applied local potentials.
