Abstract:

In this talk I will cover the state of research at Google Quantum AI as we push towards a million qubit fault-tolerant quantum computer. I will overview our team and what we do, and highlight some of our key results in theory and experiment. I will finish by detailing some recent results on error mitigation and some discussion of the viability of beyond-classical NISQ applications for the near-term.
