Abstract:
I will do an introductory overview of bosonization techniques in quantum field theory. I will begin by the standard Abelian bosonization for many body problems in condensed matter setting go on to the nonAbelian bosonization and Wess-Zumino-Witten models and if time allows to bosonization in higher dimensions, relevant for topological matter.
We begin at 11h with an informal discussion and continue with the talk at 11:20.
