Details on how to participate online are distributed via the mailing lists [wiss-mpq] and [Mpq-colloquium-stream]. To receive this information, please register using the attached link.

Scientific organization of the talks:  Dr. Stephan Dürr and Dr. Thomas Udem

Room: Herbert Walther Lecture Hall

“The search for evidence of quantum advantage” (MCQST-Colloquium) (Prof. Dorit Aharonov)

to be announced soon [more]
Quasifree quantum operations are the abstract version of linear quantum optics with additive, but not necessarily Gaussian noise. Like Gaussian operations they can be analysed almost completely by classical phase space considerations. This also works for quantum-classical hybrids, providing prototypes of all uncertainty and disturbance tradeoffs in various measurement and control scenarios. [more]

“Quantum interfaces based on trapped ions” (MCQST-Colloquium) (Prof. Tracy Northup)

to be announced soon [more]

(Prof. Yiwen Chu)
