Abstract:

I will define and motivate Haar-random matrix product states (RMPS). I will also give a brief overview of recent and not-so-recent results, including those of arxiv:2103.02634. Using the same graphical notation as that paper, I will introduce Ising-like transfer matrices and present results on correlations in RMPS, something Yorgos, Flavio, and I have been working on in the past months.
