*Abstract:*

As one progresses in the study of theoretical physics, the concept of chirality shows up in a variety of different places, with the adjective "chiral" being attached to different entities in different contexts. In this talk I will go through a few examples of them, from chiral fermions through chiral conformal field theories to chiral topological phases of matter, and humbly try to disentangle what chirality adds to each situation.
