Many Body Seminar: (Clean) discrete time crystals and simulation on a quantum computer
Daniel Malz (MPQ)
I will introduce the many-body localized discrete time crystal invented by Else, Bauer and Nayak and then cover the question whether similar phenomenology can occur in a clean system.

Abstract:
I will introduce the many-body localized discrete time crystal invented by Else, Bauer and Nayak and then cover the question whether similar phenomenology can occur in a clean system. I will then talk about related work that I am (thinking about) doing relating to analogue simulation of DTCs and the possibility for actual clean discrete time crystals.
We begin at 11h with an informal discussion and continue with the talk at 11:20.
