Abstract:

In this talk, I will give a brief summary on recent and not-so-recent findings in quantum algorithm research. I will discuss selected quantum algorithms and types of quantum speedups. Also, I will mention the applications for different quantum algorithms and include general remarks on technological risk. There will be room for discussions which are highly welcomed.
