In this meeting, we will analyse presenting and performance and develop a model of communication that allows you to substantially improve the way you present.

We will analyse and experiment with performance, theater and conversation after which we will discover the first law of stage acting. When you apply that to presenting it has an enormous impact on the quality of the presentation.

Artesc is a group of artists, teachers and scientists who teach how to improve your presentation and writing skills using ideas from theater and prose (click here for more information).

Gijs Meeusen is a composer with a PhD in physics. After his PhD he analysed stage performance and found the solution to the decline of audience attention in lectures and presentations. With this knowledge he was able to design short courses that teach presenters and teachers to retain audience attention using theatrical skills. These ideas are currently finding their way internationally, improving presenting in seven European countries already.

I hope many of you can take part and enjoy this talk!
