Prof. Wolfgang Ketterle

Prof. Wolfgang Ketterle (Co-recipient of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physics for the Creation of the first gaseous Bose-Einstein condensate), John D. MacArthur Professor of Physics at MIT, Boston, is visiting the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics from July 2024 until January 2025. He is a guest of the Quantum Many-Body Systems Division.
His research interests are studies of ultracold atomic matter, superfluidity, spin physics and ultracold molecules. ***
