“OpenScopes: an open, modular platform to widen access and capabilities in microscopy and high content analysis” (Prof. Paul French)
I will review recent developments of our multidimensional fluorescence and quantitative phase imaging instrumentation and outline how we are working to widen access to such advanced imaging modalities, including for high content analysis (HCA) through our “openScopes” open instrumentation platform (www.openscopes.com), particularly building on the open-source modular “openFrame” microscope stand, suitable for affordable and sustainable instruments in lower resource (e.g., LMIC) settings or for rapidly prototyping of almost any other microscopy or HCA modality.
