ATLAS
The activities of the Laser-Plasma-Group are focused
on high-intensity experiments carried out with the titanium:sapphire laser
system ATLAS. It delivers 790-nm / 130-fs pulses at a repetiton rate of 10 Hz with
output energies of up to 300 mJ (⇒ 2 TW) or of up to 1 J (⇒ 8 TW).
