Studentische Hilfskräfte (HiWi's):
Wir haben fast immer kleine Projekte oder Aufgaben, die eine interessante Tätigkeit für studentische Hilfskräfte (im Hauptstudium) darstellen. Hauptsächlich handelt es sich um die Entwicklung elektronischer Schaltungen und deren Einbau in die Experimente. Für Studenten ist dies die beste Gelegenheit, den Alltag in einem Forschungsinstitut kennenzulernen und Forschungsluft zu schnuppern!
Undergraduate students (Diplomanden):
We welcome any good student who likes to join a highly motivated team, working on one of the experiments in the group. Basic knowledge in (quantum)optics is a plus, but motivation to work in a team is more important. Please contact one of the people below for more information.
PhD positions (Doktoranden):
Most projects in the group are run by PhD students. As we like to start new projects now and again, we encourage possible PhD candidates to apply for positions. A background in experimental physics is certainly helpful, but not always required. A "Diplom" in physics or any equivalent degree is a mandatory prerequisite. Post-docs:
If you bring specific experience relevant to one of our experiments, or want to work in a highly active field of modern quantum optics, or just have a crazy idea that you would like to pursue, please contact Prof. Rempe.
