Welcome to the homepage of the Fourth Mini-Symposium on Topological Quantum Computation, held in Ringberg Castle, near Munich, on December 10-11, 2007.

This event was an opportunity to communicate and discuss ideas in an informal atmosphere, and learn about techniques relevant to TQC, which proved to be a pleasant and fruitful guiding principle in the previous symposia organised by Jiannis Pachos, Jiri Vala, and Gavin Brennen in Cambridge, Maynooth, and Innsbruck, respectively.

The symposium coincided in space-time with a meeting of the Theory Group of the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, Garching (led by Ignacio Cirac.)
