Short Bio
Native of Madrid, began to study engineering at the University of Brussels (ULB) in the fall of 1998. In July 2003, he graduated from
there as Engineer in Physics. From September 2003 to October 2007, Garcia-Patron worked as a Ph.D. student at the Center for Quantum
Information and Communication of the University of Brussels (ULB). From November 2007 till December 2010, he worked at the Center for
Extreme Quantum Information Theory at MIT. December 2010 he was awarded an Alexander van Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship.
He joined the Theory group of the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics beginning of May 2011.
