The price per night for a single-room is EUR 60,00 Euros and for the double-room EUR 80,00 Euros (two separate beds and two separate bills). Breakfast is included.

Means of transport

Airport-Hotel

Transport information, Airport-Hotel-Airport, can be also found in the Hotel Website. Since it is written in German, we want to give you some basic informations. On Sunday there are no convenient and frequent connections, therefore it is recommendable to take a Taxi (EUR 25-30 euros). Other days, take the S1 train from the airport to Neufahrn, then bus 690 from Neufahrn S-bahn station to Garching and get off at "Lehrer-Stieglitz Strasse".

From the Hotel to the Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics it is a nice walk of about 15min (see map of Garching). However, you can also use Bus 690 (Stop Boltzmann Strasse).

Airport-MPQ

The simplest way to get from the airport to the MPQ in Garching is to take the S1 train from the airport to Neufahrn, then bus 690 from Neufahrn S-bahn station to Garching and get off at the "Boltzmann Straße" stop (which in fact is on Ludwig-Prandtl Straße!). Cross the street and walk a few meters south to the Institut für Quantenoptik (no. 40 in the map ). The whole journey takes about 1/2 an hour.
